In the United States, the Louisiana Lottery was one of the last state lotteries to run in the nation. The game was a success, but it was plagued by corruption and bribery. It was eventually killed in 1963. In the 20th century, the Louisiana Lottery was the highest grossing state lottery in the United States.<\/p>\n
